car is not necessary in Puerto Aventuras since it is only a short
walk to the restaurants, grocery stores, marina, golf, tennis,
diving, beach combing, sailing, snorkeling, jungle walks, spa,
nautical museum and Dolphin Discovery.
It is only a short dirve to Playa del Carmen, Cozumel, Akumal,
Xcaret and the Mayan ruins of Tulum.
Puerto Aventuras is the center of sport fishing for Mexico's Caribbean
coast. Deep sea fishing charters are available from Rick's at
the marina or you can fly fish for bonefish and permit.
There is a coral reef for snorkeling in front of the condo and
a Mayan ruin and a cenote are within walking distance.
